Manor House Stables Visit, Friday 31st August
Good evening all,
Thought a quick posting was apt for tonight, given it happened over a month ago and really should have been up by now!
In August I was very kindly invited by the staff to one of the leading flat racing yards in the country, that being Tom Dascombe's at Manor House Stables, just outside Malpas, Cheshire. The team were very welcoming, and it was a pleasure to be at on what was a very beautiful morning.
As with any yard visit, we at JTW Equine Images are very appreciative for the opportunity to photograph the horses and staff doing what they do best and on a daily routine, and it's always nice to see an insight into what goes on behind the scenes, as the majority of people who go racing may never get the chance to visit a yard and see the equine superstars at home, or realise the multitude of effort that goes into getting a horse to the races.
As promised, here's the gallery of the morning, hope you all enjoy!
I would once again like to thank Tom and all the team at Manor House Stables for allowing me an insight to their day to day proceedings, hope these photos are doing justice!
The next yard visit report is from a stable we have been extremely grateful to, as it was the first yard to allow us access to photograph at, given us great opportunities, and most of all been very good friends to us. That is Oliver Greenall Racing, and coming soon will be a small report on their Open Day, which was a few weeks back. Watch this space!
Cheers,
Tom
