A big welcome to all!

A very warm welcome to the website of JTW Aviation Images, the page of Tom & Jack Williams, twin brothers and photographers from Wrexham, North Wales, United Kingdom.

Here you will see a selection of our work, ranging from Aviation to Equine ( including Horse Racing ) photography, and from Nature to Events photography. Basically, if it involves pointing a camera at a subject, chances are we will do it!

We are dedicated Nikon users, having been with Canon for the first 2 and a half years of our photography, but in December last year we upgraded to a Nikon D7100 and 300mm F4 Lens, which we have had a large amount of success with this year, including the image at the bottom of this post, a United States Air Force Boeing F-15D Eagle of the 493rd Fighter Squadron "Grim Reapers" based at RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, taking off from the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford on Monday 20th July 2015.

We have big ambitions with our photography, and have plenty to look forward to in the future!

2015 has been a rather successful year for us, with military and civilian organisations such as the Royal Air Force, Wales Air Ambulance and Nightingale House Hospice, using our images to promote good causes, including for the latter the Snowdon Charity Climb in June, an annual event that raises funds for the Hospice to perform their essential pallitive care.

A real highlight was when in July and September we were given rare and very privelaged access to the flightlines of IV(R) and 208(R) Squadrons at RAF Valley, Anglesey. The image at the top of this page is one that was taken on the IV(R) Squadron flightline in July of a BAE Systems Hawk T2, taken with a Nikon D7100 and 10.5mm Fisheye lens.

For 2016, we aim to be as creative, inspired and dedicated as we have been in 2015, and look forward to what the year will bring. Early plans have already been set forward in the pipeline, and we shall update this page regularly with a blog posting of each photographic opportunity, with a couple of random blog posts thrown in for good measure!
